I feel like junk these days, I don’t know about you. I’ve been eating terribly, I stopped exercising (because, well, 2020), and I just kind of feel like - so what? What’s the point? I’m never seeing anyone in person again… I’m going to sit in my house and watch Netflix for the next six months anyway… who cares?
But I do care.
I care about my health. I want to be strong again, to feel like myself… but I have zero incentive. I was daydreaming about this the other day and remembering the year after I had Sadie, my youngest, when I booked a “boudoir photoshoot” for myself with a photographer friend a few months out, because I wanted to get back to feeling like myself (it was when I was stopping breastfeeding and I felt like my body would be my own again).
That was why I lost all my baby weight that year - I had this photoshoot booked, so I had incentive. And it got me thinking. I can’t be the only one in quarantine thinking/feeling this way.
So I had an idea.
I’ve decided to do two months of "Mom Empowerment" photoshoots this year.
Because you’re beautiful. And you deserve this.
I’m doing the photoshoots in May and June 2021, and because we have no idea what’ll be going on with the vaccine then, I’ll be doing them all outdoors, social-distancing-style.
They’re going to be $300 for the session, and that’s going to include a little paperback album of the best 20 photos because I know having a printed memory of that-time-you-did-that-photoshoot (that I know you’ll keep in your sock drawer) is going to be something I’m going to want you to have.
I want your kids to find it someday, and be just amazed by how gorgeous you are.
Use one as your work headshot. Put one on LinkedIn. Put a little tiny cute one in a frame in your kiddos’ room, because you know what? They think you’re beautiful, too, and I know it would make them smile.
To book one of these sessions, you pay $100 now and you pay $200 in the spring on the day of the photoshoot.
(I’ll be in touch to schedule the actual date for the photos when the spring gets closer.)
Then, after you see your cute little album, if you love all the photos, you can buy them for the “all the JPGs from a minishoot” rate of $500, or you can just pick your favorite (or handful of favorites) for $75 each, or buy prints or whatever at the $18-$36 rates you can find on my site here.
But you’ll get all the photos in the cute little album for that $300, so that’s pretty cool.
Because you’re incredible, and you’re worth it.
These photoshoots will result in a gallery of photos like these ones - empowering, show-off-your-gorgeous-self photos.
Think of it as an investment in you.
Want to go for it?
Ask someone who loves you to give it to you as a gift, maybe?
Fantastic. Submit your $100 now on this payment page, and I'll add you to my list for the May/June sessions. If you're interested, I'll also add you to a private Facebook group of mamas who are doing this over Jan-June... I'm excited to work together and lift each other up in these next few months! We all need all the community we can get.
