I'll admit it, it seems crazy to do a newborn photoshoot outdoors in the bright sun on a roofdeck in Southie - it truly does. But crazy times call for crazy flexible families... and that's what this cutie has going on...

Completely, wonderfully flexible parents!

I'm not taking any photos indoors right now due to Covid-19 -- all my photoshoots are Social Distancing Outdoor Minishoots (more info about how I do them in general is on this page of my website: www.bostonbabyphotos.com/covid) -- so when parents with new babies call me, we talk about different outdoor spaces in their life, and where we could take photos.

This family welcomed their sweet boy into their life just 2 1/2 weeks before this photoshoot...

And luckily for this sweet family, they had access to the roof of their building in Southie - which allowed us to get some gorgeous backgrounds in our photos!

Of course, it's always true that being outdoors means getting open eyes photos is tough... it's just so very bright for them when new babies are outdoors. But that doesn't mean we can't get gorgeous photos!

He was just such a snuggly, happy love up there, in mama and daddy's arms.

I love how tiny his little head is compared to Daddy's hand 🙂

I'm so grateful we were able to do photos, even though we had to do them outdoors! It's just such a special time of life to document. Thank you so much for having me out!
