Dorchester, MA: One year later

One year ago I met this tiny little guy. He was just perfection! Here are a few shots from our newborn session at home last year.

And his dad reminded me that there were gorgeous hydrangea on the table when we did photos in their new kitchen last summer...

So of course we had to start our photoshoot off with some hydrangea shots this year as well. Off topic, but is anybody else noticing how INCREDIBLE the hydrangea bushes are doing all over Boston this year? Is it because of lots of rain in May or something? Anybody know why?

OK, but I digress. Look at this big, beautiful nearly one year old boy!

Oh, but speaking of digressing, can I just do one other little thing? I won a few awards in the last month or so, and I've been meaning to post about them. I thought I'd toss them up on this blog post and they can speak for themselves. Thanks to everyone for your votes!

But, now back to the main event.

It was hot, hot HOT at our Social Distancing Outdoor Minishoot this past weekend! We're talking high 80s, low 90s, so we knew our time with Mr. Cutie Pie playing outside would be limited. Luckily he was totally into it.

Especially when we started playing in the sprinkler and with water droplets. Water is so gorgeous in photos, and YAY it makes for fabulous smiles.

And of course we had to finish up with some splashing with a big bowl of water, shirtless.
