The unexciting offerings of January may be bringing us down, but you cannot beat the beautiful winter light. Here's a six week-old photoshoot in black and white that I'm excited to share with you. The soft moments with the sweet baby, cast in that gorgeous winter light. I'm telling you. A newborn photographer's dream.

Six week-old photoshoot in the Back Bay 

This was my first time meeting this family, and just weeks after they met their sweet girl! But it turns out that Mama and I both went to the same high school (although I may have graduated a weeee bit before she did 😉

These guys just had such fun with their sweet new girl.

I mean look at this face! Those cheeks, and she's only had six weeks to work on them 🙂

I really love this one of her lying on her tummy, and those sweet little rolls on her back...

And Daddy adoring his girlie…perfection.

What a wonderful visit we had!

...Until the very last minute, at which point Mademoiselle decided she needed a perfect little snooze. Just wonderful.

I'm glad your parents will have the six week-old photoshoot moments for a lifetime. Sweet dreams, Princess.
