This is the first of two posts about my Boston Fall Minishoot days. I have so many of them scheduled and I want to be sure to show you how spaces and locations change throughout the season.
I do minishoots throughout the year in two different locations. I do Boston fall minishoots at the Public Garden in the heart of Boston Proper on two different days each fall, usually in late September and again in the middle of October. Then I also offer minishoots at Turner’s Pond in Milton all year round. Take a peek:
Boston Fall Minishoots
So we’ll start with a few sessions from late summer. August is a gorgeous time to do your minishoot, and Turner’s Pond is definitely in its splendor in late summer. Lots of families like to lock in a family session while everyone is still tan and before the crazy of fall begins. Some families are looking for something very specific - maybe something like just pictures of the kiddos. These guys always make me smile.
August is green and bright and the kids are sun-kissed and never cuter.
As September begins, I always book some families for their minishoots at Turner’s Pond early in the month - the weather’s always gentle, easy, and sometimes kiddos decide to wear their patriotic summer stuff and we can do do playful, family shots.
Summer brights look great on the wall all year-round.
These girls crack me up.
Then along comes the end of September minishoots at the Public Garden. These twin boys are nearing their first birthday and it was hilarious trying to get them to sit near each other for a photo.
Fun family stuff abounds in the Public Garden. You can see that the colors in late September are nice and warm there - it’s a really easy time of year to do photos. I always tell people September is the best month for photos in New England!
Not too rainy, not too hot. But the real beauty is in these photo subjects!
Then as October gets going, I’m often back at Turner’s Pond for more sessions. The leaves are starting to change for these sessions - and I love Dad’s pop of orange here… not to mention red-headed A’s cuteness!
See those background leaves? They’re coming, guys, they’re coming! And these were early/mid October.
Turner’s Pond never disappoints. Always something fun to do!
Don’t worry, I’ll blog the late October/early November Boston fall minishoots later this fall after I’ve gotten those ones edited. Moving right along with more to come!
