You only experience your own first birthday fun once, but lucky for me, I got to visit with this little lady three (3!!!) times during her first year of life. Miss V's family went with BBP Package #2, a.k.a. my most popular Baby’s First Year package this year - the one where we do three shoots and the family gets to make a cool book at the end of the year.
First Birthday Fun in Jamaica Plain, MA
Sometimes people want to reschedule when their one year-old, you know, does that one year-old thing and walks into a table or whatever and suffers a self-inflicted blow…and then there are the families who say, let’s go for it anyway! We need to remember her little shiner just the way it was when she had her first birthday. Real life! Either way works for me - but I do think these are hilarious and adorable and a great way to remember V at this time in her life.
After calisthenics, there was reading with Daddy. These reminded me of my Reach Out and Read photoshoots in Minnesota this summer. Did I tell you I got to go there and take photos for the Boston-based national office? Such a cool program where children receive age-appropriate books from their pediatricians to encourage lifelong reading--and V and Daddy are already off to a great start.

It's first birthday fun. It's a plane. It's Super V!
