Is there a finer season than spring to do a Public Garden maternity minishoot, there in that lovely garden space, with the Make Way for Ducklings mama and baby ducks looking on? Possibly not!
Public Garden maternity minishoot
When this mama contacted me a few weeks ago and asked about doing a Public Garden maternity minishoot with her husband in his Coast Guard dress blues -- cue the excitement -- YAY it’s outdoor photoshoots in the Public Garden time of year! FINALLY!!!! And then I got excited because I could only imagine how cute these two would be.
And I was right, they were incredibly awesome and perfect. She didn’t love the hat - but I loved their dynamic when it came to the hat. Giggles!
Oh, my lovely weeping willows are slowly getting their leaves back - welcome spring! Sweet, light, gentle leaves coming down, outlining the edge of the photo for us, with this gorgeous mama-to-be just bursting with smiles.
The Coast Guard blues looked incredible with D’s blue dress. And against the burgeoning green of the public garden this time of year? Perfection.
I think the photo with D leaning on J here is my absolute favorite. That or the one in the top left here, where they’re just so calmly smiling over at me - not a care in the world. Just hanging by the swan boats, you know… two weeks from having a baby. No big deal.
Speaking of gorgeous.
Pretty spots, happy people… joy just bubbling over in every direction.
Finally, we got some spring, guys!!
And then one more series where these guys just adore each other - I love the one in the bottom left… I think D might be pointing at me??
Glowing, absolutely glowing. Just loved every minute of this shoot, thanks SO much for letting me document this time in your life!! Wonderful to meet you guys.
Spring has sprung! Are you inspired by this Public Garden maternity minishoot? I've still got a few spots available for the upcoming minishoots--grab one while you can! In the meantime, let's keep in touch! Join the Boston Baby Photos mailing list! I look forward to meeting you.
