Jamaica Plain MA Family Dog Photoshoot

OK, so this is just crazy, you guys. A family dog photoshoot scheduled to go live on the blog during the same week when we decide to make good on our years-ago promise to our kids and begin the process of getting a dog here at the McDaniel house!? I am seriously, kid you not here, SERIOUSLY, like a pregnant mother with all the hormones and new puppy excitement. I’m certain you’ll hear more about my story as time goes on… you all know I can’t keep my mouth shut about things I love... Maybe I’ll be lucky enough to fall in love with a dog someday, kind of the way this cool guy fell in love with a dog (nice transition, eh? I’m good like that!)....

Here’s the story of a boy and his dog. And their family dog photoshoot together!

See, I met R when he was a little tiny dude and he only had one pup (the cute darker pup sitting next to his mama). And we’ve done photos every year since then! But this year he got a NEW pup (the adorable licking cutie pie), so we had to document it.

So it’s this handsome young man I’m talking about. Do you believe he’s seven already? And look at his handsome pup! Such well behaved guys, both of them.

Smooches! You guys know how much I love dog lick pictures, right?

But while we’re at it, mama smooches aren’t the worst thing in the world, either.

And of course R had to show me lots of places for pictures. My favorite is the kitchen counter.

But it was towards the end of the photoshoot that made me feel like we hit it - everybody looking in the same direction! The holy grail! 🙂
