This Charlestown Monument family photoshoot is all about making history. Making portraits of a personal history in a truly historic location...

We've been capturing T since she was a newborn with the baby’s first year package (including three photoshoots in T’s first year at home from newborn to big one year-old girl).

Now we're doing the annual plan, which includes two photoshoots/year - a Public Garden minishoot (we had so much fun there last spring for T’s 18-month shoot!) and then just this fall at home and at the Charlestown Monument (the Bunker Hill Monument) for playtime.

The Monument is such fun for photos! I love showing it in its entirety but also playing around and having fun with families there.

Seems like T had such fun giggling with her mama.

 Mom + Dad + T = Wheeeee!

Bwah ha ha the last shot here cracks me up - she gave us a few smiles but then zoooooom she was off. She’s so two.

Whereas the indoors is perfect for a few shots, 2 year-olds are all about outdoor action!

Sweet, smart, and with a strong sneaker game.

This is why we document these personal histories. Grown-up T can look back on 2 year-old T's Silly Face for many years to come.

Looking forward to seeing T and her crew again soon!
