This Stoughton MA New Baby Photoshoot /Family Shoot is for a family of winners--literally, they won this shoot last spring at the Thacher Montessori School auction. This was when mama was still pregnant with her littlest L. I’ve known them through our kids’ school for a few years now, and I always get excited to have a chance to photograph a friend’s children.
One cool thing Mama told me at the end of the photoshoot was that she’d been on my mailing list for years before we met! How weird and super cool is that?
These four gorgeous girls all have names that start with L. Their mama had noticed the way I only use first initials on my blog and we laughed about how on earth we’d differentiate between the girls in a blog post about it. Never one to shy away from a challenge…here goes! Look at these four LLLLlovely LLLLladies. Oh boy, I’m making myself giggle with this L story already. Haha! OK, but I digress. The girls just adore playing with their newest baby sister, and really couldn’t get enough of holding her and cuddling her. They patiently read her a book together, and even managed to not pull on her too much in the process.
Six month-old L has the best little grin, and she’s doing so well with her pushing up and holding her neck up so strong.
Of course each of the big girls needed some alone pictures with the star of the show. Naturally!
And they had to give her some tootsie tickles....
OK, but the real life moment in this photo here absolutely cracks me up. #3 daughter L just giving a nice big YAWWWWWN. So good. So, so good.
And then of course some daddy cuddles and giggles.
And some mama time. This one at the bottom left peeking over mama’s shoulder is one of my very favorite quiet moments. The window light…the sweet serene face…just perfect.
I’m so glad I got to come in and meet your new addition, guys. I just absolutely adored getting a chance to document your new family-of-six-ness!
