I love doing baby photos and family photoshoots, but for a while now, my clients have been asking about senior photos. The answer is always a solid yes! I love doing them; I just forget to talk about them when I’m so busy during the rest of the year talking about babies and toddlers. So, I thought I’d take a minute to show off some of the really fun senior photos I’ve been able to do.
Senior Photos at Turner’s Pond
I love to do senior photos over at Turner’s Pond in Milton. I only charge $175 for a 20-minute minishoot, which is a great option, year-round. You’ll have plenty of pictures to choose from, with 25–40 final images, and I’ll email one JPG to your school with no charge for the retouching.
Look at this gorgeous girl. Doesn’t she just glow? I love getting that one perfect image that will be hanging at the graduation party.
This handsome guy came with his mama and sister as well as a change of shirts so he could try out two different looks. I honestly can’t decide which look is better!
Another boy who came with his mama. She had decided to go with a blue shirt for him, which I thought was a great idea. It’s the perfect look for this guy.
Senior Photos after a Family Session
In addition to minishoots, I also offer senior photos at the end of a family shoot. Really, sometimes it makes the most sense to get your family photos done at a location of your choosing and then let me borrow your 17-year-old to knock out some great shots at the end.
This fantastic guy was one of my family session seniors. Don’t you love his smile? I was so impressed that he was able to keep it up after all the smiling with his family!
When I do senior photos, I show you all of the photos in black and white as well as color, and you never know which you’ll like better. This gorgeous girl was one of my Turner’s Pond seniors, and I did her photos in January a few years ago. I love the way the snow looks in the background.
If you have a senior in need of some pictures before they go out into the world on their own, I’d be more than happy to set up a session for you! After all, babies grow up and leave the nest, but they will always be our babies, won’t they?
I'm Jessica McDaniel, and May 2021 will mark my 18th anniversary photographing babies and their families all around Boston.
