I met up with L, K, and S on a windy September day at their home in Brookline, MA for a sibling photoshoot that had me grinning all day.
A Fun Brookline Teenager Photoshoot
It’s pretty rare for a mama to call me for the first time when her kids are 15, 14, and 12 years old. (And I know 12 isn't quite a teenager, I KNOW -- I have a twelve-year-old of my own at home. But it's pretty close!)
Since I’ve been in business for 13 years now, lots of my early baby clients are teenagers now, and I love seeing the kids grow up... it’s just rare for this kind of call to come in from a new family. So I was really excited for the opportunity to hang out with these three fun kids at this Brookline teenager photoshoot.
A Sibling Photoshoot - Even the Furry Kind
We wanted to be sure we had some photos of L with their adopted pup, because the two of them have a really cool bond. Thanks to some treats, we were able to get a few fun photos of these two playing together.
Once we got outside, we took some of my favorite pictures of the whole day of the three kids doing crazy things together. I loved how much energy they had and the silly fun that they had.
Three (well, almost three) Teenagers
Look at that genuine smile! And when your little brother squeezes you tight and you don't look annoyed? These guys were total pros.
Really, these three were easy, breezy.
Speaking of breezy (haha, cracking myself up over here), there was quite a bit of wind when we were out walking around doing this Brookline teenager photoshoot. But both K and L were so mellow about the wind picking up and blowing their long hair around. But they were all three such naturals in front of the camera, I’m not surprised a little wind didn’t faze them.
Then, it was time for little brother S to take his turn. When I went and found him, I had to laugh, because he had climbed onto the jungle gym and was just hanging out, relaxing.
Older kids, fun photos
I'll admit I’m a sucker for sister photos, because my own sister is my best friend in the whole world. So when L and K wanted to do a picture of just the two of them, I immediately agreed. Of course, S wasn’t going to let his sisters have all the fun, and I cracked up when he photobombed them and poked his head right into the middle of their hug.
These three kids really knew how to have fun, and it showed when we decided to take a few purely “goofy” shots. These are some of my favorite moments, because they're themselves, just messing around together.
Thank you, L, K, and S, for an amazing sibling photoshoot. I loved getting to know you all and seeing how much fun you have together.
