All hail the amazingly creative cousin who’s a whiz with the knitting and crochet needles! Everybody say HEY-O!
All hail the sister and bro-in-law who are just a few WEEKS away from making it to their twins’ first birthday. Everybody say HEY-O!
And all hail a weekend of costumes – because nothing, nothing beats Halloween weekend when you take pictures of children for a living.
So I’m going to have to dedicate this post to a family of Star Wars nuts who are near and dear to my heart. I’ll share some additional costumed cuties on the blog as well, but I’m gonna focus on one team of three cuties who made me smile a lot today. I mean, we’ve got eleven month old E going as Snow Warrior Leia. And her twin brother J? Yup, I think you’re picking up what I’m putting down. He’s going as X-Wing Fighter Pilot Luke. Obvi. I mean, guys, they’re twins. Get it? And we’re talking a three year old big sister who INSISTED on being Darth Vadar. Because that’s how they roll.
And then, once they’d decided on their costumes, in swept the magical cousin who wields her knitting needle (a.k.a. light saber… <– see what I did there?) with incredible skill, and they were off and running.
All this combined meant we got this:
And this:
And this:
Which of course led to this:
But wait! That’s not all!
Because it’s Halloween weekend! I have to show you more. Sometimes on this kind of weekend you just run into a fairy princess:
Or a snow queen:
Or a vampire:
Or Sophia the First:
Or Thomas:
See, it’s just the best weekend. The twins agree. New hats #ftw!
