Ruh-roh. Sorry. I hate it when this happens.
I overshot these two gorgeous girls a few weeks ago, just a couple of days shy of their first birthday. I kid (a little), because I guess no parent thinks there’s any such thing as too many photos of their children, but I do think it makes it really hard on the parents when there are too many photos to consider. I tried, I swear I tried, but I couldn’t cut the gallery down below 93 final images. Crazy! I usually deliver families 50-75 finished (what I’d consider “frame-worthy”) images at the end of a shoot, and that can even be overwhelming, I know. And then when a family asks me to make them a blog post, I like to pick my favorite ten or so pictures for the blog and Facebook. But now, here I was looking at these photos and I had the same problem I know parents have – I couldn’t cut my own list of favorites down.
So here goes, my favorite 18 photos from the first year photoshoot with these two incredible little ladies…
P.S. I know exactly what happened, by the way, in case anyone is curious. I was allowed to keep shooting! These guys got fussy towards the end of the shoot and needed a snack, so they got in their high chairs (adorable – so many chances for pictures) and then finished up, after that, with standing by a big beautiful window smooshing Cheerios into their mouths. Of course I had to keep taking pictures – those wrists? Those fat ankles? I mean, come on. You can’t blame me…
