This fun mama contacted me a few weeks ago about doing a shoot at the beach near her house, and, even cooler, she found a friend who was interested in doing the same thing. This meant I was able to organize the two shoots as mini-sessions (explained in detail on my website here, although they’re usually only in the Boston Public Garden), one at 10am and the other at 10:30am.
So this is the first pair of cuties – they’re four and two. And if you know their dad, don’t say anything to him about these – this shoot was a Father’s Day surprise.
Who would think she doesn’t like to smile for pictures?
I’d love to see this running one big on a wall somewhere – it’s so fun…
And talk about small world… The two girls on the right of this next picture are the gorgeous older siblings from the two minishoots I had at the beach that day, but the third little girl (the one on the left) was there at the beach playing with her brother and her babysitter. (Note – there was only one other group at the beach while we were shooting, it’s not like there was a crowd…)
And lo and behold, not only did our big girl subjects of the photoshoots know her from their gymnastics class, but I’ve also had nine photoshoots with her and her big brothers over the last eight years! I love small world stuff.
