Scituate MA Family Photographer – K&C go crazy

So their mom was bummed when I showed up and they’d already set up the bounce house for this guy’s 3rd birthday party. She was worried about it being an eyesore in the photos. Never! We must enjoy! Time to BOUNCE!

Reading and playing with a wonderful boy

I loved seeing this sweet boy again this year back on an unseasonably warm day in October. He spent some time at the beginning of the photoshoot reading a fabulous bug book aloud to his mom – I’ll admit I learned quite a lot ;)

What a precious pumpkin and a lovely mommy! I’m fortunate to count both of them among my friends, and creating more pictures of them will just make the world a more beautiful place.

What a sweet and loving series of photos!

Look at that pup

It was just a handful of years ago that this gorgeous mama and I last saw each other. I will spare you the actual timeline, but suffice it to say I may have been missing some teeth in the front and she may or may not have been my sister’s and my super-fun-most-awesomest babysitter. So that must have been at least five or ten years ago… ;)

And you have to see not only fun and amazing C, but also her pup Sunday – who got lots of love during the photos. Because wouldn’t you scratch that face??

Oh, and Happy New Year!

Three and their bunny

How is this my first bunny photoshoot? Is it? I think it is, but I also have a notoriously terrible memory :)

I loved getting a chance to play with these three and their fantastic bunny. It was a quickie shoot in their back yard before they zipped off to a football game, but we had great fun.

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #15

I was thrilled to meet this 3 year old guy last weekend on my 2nd minishoot day of the spring. They were my 3rd session that day, and he came ready to have fun. I love 3 year old energy – he was nonstop. But that means soooo many good pictures in his 20 minute shoot.  Super fun – and though we got the posed Bruins shot, where you can see both of the faces, this one cracks me up much more.  HUG!  Wonderful to meet you guys :)

Adorable! A great looking family and beautiful photos!

Winter at the beach

I know January is a funny time to head to the beach in New England, but with the weather we’ve been having, we decided to go for it.  And these guys moved from their city place into a beach-front place, so we had to enjoy some outside time for this big three year old’s pictures.

I have a hard time picking a favorite – I think maybe it’s the one of him dying laughing after smooching his mama… but maybe it’s his rapt attention as daddy tells a story during the Lego building… anyway, can’t go wrong with this cutie pie. Wonderful to see you guys!

One more color burst for you today

So I had to show you these ones in color, too. See my last post for waaaayyyyy too much information about my thoughts about color, b&w, etc. :)

These guys just bought a new house this summer – congratulations! This meant they had a big beautiful yard full of leaves, perfect for throwing.  The shot with the leaves flying and mom and dad both smiling at H just gives me chills.  Adore it.  That and the one where the long piece of grass came into the side of the frame and caught the camera’s focus, so mom and H went into the background a bit, as she tickled him like crazy? Perfect. And don’t even get me started on the ones where they’re lying in the leaves – H looking up at Dad with the best smile ever, and then when they all three agreeably lay down in the leaf pile, nice clothes and all – but smiling and just giving off this glowy, happy family vibe, all over the place? Awesome. Thanks for a fantastic shoot, guys. Congrats again on the new house :)

Public Garden Mini-shoot #6: Run!

And here’s my last peek into blogging for the night – these guys asked for a quickie blog post and we had such fun I had to oblige.  And just for good measure (because the mama in this family and I go way back) I’m fulfilling one of her requests with the jumping photo.  See, when they showed up for their shoot we laughed about how her husband had hacked her Facebook account that morning and had asked her friends chime in by singing his (dad’s) praises. She told me I had to get a bad picture of him and include it so she could use it against him.  Never one to let a challenge go unmet, I’m doing you a solid here, Julie, with the jumping picture.  I think it’s just soooo funny that in this particular moment the only one who’s caught any air is dad.  It just makes me smile.  Josh – don’t hate me! :)

Spring Public Garden Mini-session #16

Haven’t seen these three since they were just wee babes, and now they’re moving back across the pond, so they wanted some Boston pictures before they left.  They were really pretty great fun. Ready, set, JUMP!

Such fun to see you guys after all these years!  Hope the transition back to the UK is great :)
