Turner’s Pond pictures with the whole family, even if we live in two houses

I’m honored to have been taking pictures of this cute face since he was just mere days old. This time we met at Turner’s Pond for pictures on Sunday (when the Walk for Hunger downtown kept us from doing our Public Garden Minishoots – ugh!).

But that didn’t matter to this guy. I mean, look at that GRIN.

And even if his mamas don’t live in the same house anymore, isn’t it so supremely cool that they’d book back-to-back minishoots at Turner’s Pond with me so that we could do lots of pictures of this cute face with each of his moms?

Because there’s no shortage of love and hugs and cuddles and squeezes happening around here. No shortage at all.

And you know what else is cool? Getting a pic of everybody together. Because why not? And also, because MOTHER’S DAY is in four more days! #mominthepicture

Yay for mamas who love their babies above all else.

And if the geese attack, this guy’s gonna just get rid of them with his friendly smile.

Hi there, Goose!

Spring Public Garden Mini-shoot #1

It’s that time of year again! It’s minishoot season, and the first of the two spring minishoots just went off without a hitch. The day on Saturday was out of this world, and it was so much fun seeing all these gorgeous families.

The day started off right with these two… I can’t believe she’s 18 months old already! Just love how active she is and how much hollering she’s doing these days :)

Public Garden Mini-shoot #4: Ducks love cheerios

OK, so as I just mentioned in the last blog post, I’m only blogging by request this month, so when this mama asked for some ideas of my favorite pictures from the session – and I thought the easiest way to show her my favorites was in a blog post.  Because then I can use this spot to point out how fun these duck pictures are.  The ducks in the Public Garden are soooo tame – almost too tame.  These ducks were very interested in the Cheerios these boys were offering, and I’m not sure you can see it in the blog version of this picture, but this male mallard in the foreground has a Cheerio in his beak and it’s catching the light in such a cool way… I love it.

Oh, and the boys are pretty fabulous too. Great to see you guys!

What’s the loudest noise you’ve ever heard?

I know what mine is.  I gave these guys a challenge: see if you can wake the neighbors (they’re one of my neighbors, so I knew I’d hear about it later), and boy did they.  Truly some of the loudest hollering I’ve ever heard.  Good on you, guys.

Twin (nearly) seven year old boys and their two and a half year old brother – they were ready to have fun. I love Mom’s face in the tickle picture (we turned the tables and the boys tickled their parents).  That and all the pretty pond/duck pictures… can’t go wrong with all that nice reflection.

It was so fun running around with you guys!

Spring Public Garden Mini-session #14

And my second mini-shoot day began on Saturday with GLORIOUS weather.  I met up with eight more families – bringing the spring total in the Public Garden to 21 sessions – and each one was wonderful.

Working with light like Saturday’s is a treat and a pleasure.  As is this little guy:

Luckily he brought his hilarious daddy:

So much to see!

Wonderful to see you guys again!

Hey, I recognize them, I watched them when they were little. :) Nice Family pics!

Spring Public Garden Mini-session #3

They just keep growing! Nearly nine years and six years old… and it seems like a year, maybe two, since I was there taking their baby pictures…

Now they’re two gorgeous little ladies.

I love how similar their laughing faces are.

THREE beauties :)

The ducks were really brave on Saturday – they kept coming right up to us wherever we were.  I love this as the girls chased Mr. and Mrs. Mallard…

Spring Public Garden Mini-shoot #1

Yesterday was gorgeous!  I had thirteen shoots over the day, and each one was a treat.  I loved seeing familiar faces and meeting new families, and we got so lucky with the weather.  Now I’m going to try to keep these blog posts short so I can move on to the next one – trying to get them all edited by Mother’s Day… (FYI, I have a couple of appointments left on my next minishoot day, Saturday, May 12th. More info is here.)

Handsome big 18 month old guy – this one is my favorite :)

And a mama squeeze :)
