Milton MA Baby Photographer – My goodness, I love bathtime photos

I am going to tease you with these first few photos because you’re not really going to believe how adorable this little girl is when I show you her face. So I’m starting with her 13 month old arms. Because wrist rolls? Knuckle dimples? People, we got it all here.

Climbing skills?

GA! Told you!!

I just adore this exchange of expressions with Mama:

And now, because you haven’t gotten enough adorableness – it’s tub time.

And some snuggles with Grandma, of course.

Just adored every minute of this shoot, guys. Thanks so much for having me.

Loving the sprinkler in September

We did these photos in the middle of September, (it was big brother C’s 5 year old birthday that very day), and what a September we had! Remember it? It was only a little bit ago, but remember how warm it was? We even got to play in the sprinkler — can’t beat it. And little bro, 9 month old N — he is completely into playing his dad’s guitar. He was almost inconsolable when they put it away. But some sprinkler time got his mind off it, luckily.

So much fun to see you guys as always!

Meetcha at the beach!

Met these three cuties at their beach house a week or two ago – and we had such a fantastic time. And I had to post these in color. I know you guys have heard me tell my color vs. b&w story a zillion times (if you haven’t it’s about 3/4 of the way down this page), but this be bright beachy photoshoot just screamed color to me.

These boys have such fun together – I always love the energy and fun vibe at their house. I loved getting a chance to hang out with them while they splashed in the waves.

Even though it was high tide, we still found ways to have fun and play.

Really fun to hang out with you guys as always!

Fall Public Garden Minishoot #2

I’m doing two minishoot days in the Public Garden this fall, and these guys were the second family of about twenty that I’m meeting there for fun running around. The first day (back in late September) I had a sold-out day of 11 families, and there’s another one in late October where we’ll have a load more. All the details about minishoot days can be found at this link on my site.

(Oh, and to streamline my process this fall, I’ve decided not to do blog posts for all of my shoots – I’m just going to do the shoots that people specifically request that I blog.)

So lucky me, these guys asked me to blog their session! I’ve know big boy D since he was a tiny newborn baby, and same with his gorgeous sis G. Now they’re both big runaround kids :) The public garden was fantastic for them and their energy.

A last burst of summer…

OK, I’m anticipating my Public Garden Minishoots this weekend, looking ahead at a wonderfully busy fall, but what better to do when fall is upon us — let’s take a few minutes remembering summer fun.  I’ve taken forever to blog this fun family that I met in July, sorry guys – I took a little blogging break this summer, but I wanted to get this posted because the colors at the beach that day were so fun.

Not to mention how fantastic these giggling girls were…

Janna Schwartz - September 25, 2013 - 10:49 pm

Thanks Jess for these treasured photos we’ll enjoy for years to come!

A colorful summer boy

I know, I know, I always blog my b&w pictures – but I always show everybody all their photos in both color and b&w… and sometimes a photoshoot just blows my mind with its color. Usually it happens with older children, when we’ve been outdoors and running… and this 4 year old dude is no exception. I’ve been taking his pictures since he was mere weeks old – can’t believe he’s FOUR!

I love going where families love to go – these guys live in Scituate by the water, so we were able to start at home, play in the sprinkler and around the yard, and then head over to the beach for some quick lighthouse / beach fun pictures. I don’t consider myself a typical beach photographer – we get different kinds of playing pictures at the beach, not so posey… but the blue sky that day (a week or so ago) just made me so happy. I think it did the same for 4 yr old K and his hermit crab friends. Can’t wait to meet your new little one in a few short months!

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #22

We’re getting there, guys – almost done with the Public Garden minishoots from this spring. Just three more to edit next week. But for now I have this stylish mama and her family (my clients all inspire me so much, style-wise… and this mama always gets me and makes me need to shop. It’s fantastic for my personal style, but painful for the wallet…)

Great to see you guys, as always!

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #20

I had such a great time playing in the Public Garden with these guys. Every time they book a shoot I’m just thrilled because it means I get to hang out with them. They are just wonderfully fun.  They had the 1pm shoot on my 5/18 minishoot day, and they came ready to jump around and play. And they did :)

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #17

More babies that just keep growing! I’ve known these little guys since they were teenie too – they’re growing up so fast. I am so super in love with the two pictures of the boys under the funky tree with the glowy leaves – which one do you like better? The one where W is tossing dirt in the air and C is cracking up, or the one where they’re both wiggling together and they just look adorable? The wiggling one is the easy favorite, I think – and the tossing dirt one is just hilarious and makes me smile so much…

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #16

Don’t I always say I love going back years later? Well, it’s true here too. I took pictures of BOTH these guys when they were teenie tiny newborn babies, and then again when they were little guys… but now they’re 7 years old and 4 years old – I love seeing tiny glimpses of the little babies they were in the wonderful kids they’ve become.

Thanks so much for meeting me, guys.

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #13

These guys met me bright and early on my 2nd and final spring minishoot day last weekend. We had a really good time – they definitely know how to have fun together :)

I adore this first one where mama catches little J’s eye – so many smiles all at once. Oh, and the horrified look on J’s face when his big sister M gives him a squeeze can’t be beat.

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #12

These guys were my last shoot of the day, and they were super fun.  It’d been a few years since I’d seen them, and I just love it when I get to see those little guys growing up.

Wonderful to see you guys :)

Spring Public Garden Minishoot #9

I haven’t seen these kiddos in a few years but I’ve been taking pictures of them since they were both perfect chubby babies. They’re both so old now! Thanks so much for coming back, I just adored seeing you guys. Minis are such a great way to reconnect with old friends :)
