Seven photoshoots in seven years

This is #25 in my series of Family Retrospective Videos – for more information about this project or to sign up to be added to the list of families who wants one, just let me know. I’ve been trying to make one of these a month since I started this project back in 2014. Now my queue of families who have requested one of these stretches into the middle of 2017, but if I’ve been taking photos of your family for a while, just send me a message and request one – it’ll be a nice surprise when it appears in your email someday.

You can watch more retrospectives here:

Our first photoshoot was in 2009, when little Georgie was only one. I’ve been back to see the six more times since then!

So without further ado, here’s a 6 minute video of Georgianna, Beatrix and Violet’s family with photos from seven photoshoots spread over seven years:

(Hint: Start playing the video, and then click on the little gear thing that takes you to “Settings” in the bottom right corner of the video. Choose 720p to make the slideshow play in high-definition. You can also choose “Full Screen” down there in that corner of the video too.)

Eight photoshoots in eleven years

We started back in 2005 when tiny baby Zoe was only two years old. Our next shoot was in 2008, and this time Zoe was joined by a teenie baby Aimee. Since then we’ve had six more photoshoots – lots of them in the Boston Public Garden as minishoots. So many years of fun :)

So without further ado, here’s a 6 minute video of Zoe and Aimee’s family with photos from eight photoshoots spread over eleven years:

(Hint: Start playing the video, and then click on the little gear thing that takes you to “Settings” in the bottom right corner of the video. Choose 720p to make the slideshow play in high-definition. You can also choose “Full Screen” down there in that corner of the video too.)

Six photoshoots in ten years

This is #23 in my series of Family Retrospective Videos – for more information about this project or to sign up to be added to the list of families who wants one, click this link and scroll down the pages through the older posts back to the first or second one (where I describe it in more detail).

I first met Max when he was just three months old, back in 2006. Then I got to see him and his sister Sarah five more times throughout the last ten years!

So without further ado, here’s a 4 minute video of Max and Sarah’s family with photos from six photoshoots spread over ten years:

(Hint: Start playing the video, and then click on the little gear thing that takes you to “Settings” in the bottom right corner of the video. Choose 720p to make the slideshow play in high-definition. You can also choose “Full Screen” down there in that corner of the video too.)

Four newborn shoots… and then look at them now!

This is #22 in my series of Family Retrospective Videos – for more information about this project or to sign up to be added to the list of families who wants one, click this link and scroll down the page through the previous posts back to the first or second one (where I describe it in more detail).

OK, so twelve years ago I did a photoshoot for this super cool family and their new baby Grayson. Then I didn’t hear from them for a bit… until two years later, when they called me because they’d had another baby! Tristan this time. Then they called me three years after that to welcome Juliette. Then again two years later for their fourth – Brynloh… (aka Sonny).

And then they moved to Arizona! (Or maybe it was somewhere between J & B that they moved… but at any rate, I was sad that they left and wished I could do more photos.) But now, if we fast forward five years? Guess who came back to Boston for a visit a few weeks ago?? These guys! So we got to do photos five years after their last newborn shoot – and for me there’s really nothing better.

So without further ado, here’s a 5 minute video of Grayson, Tristan, Juliette and Brynloh’s family with photos from five photoshoots spread over twelve years:

(Hint: Start playing the video, and then click on the little gear thing that takes you to “Settings” in the bottom right corner of the video. Choose 720p to make the slideshow play in high-definition. You can also choose “Full Screen” down there in that corner of the video too.)

A two week old sweet girl

I was so honored to be invited to meet this gorgeous new babe last week – sweet little lady girl of a wonderful high school friend. Aren’t these ladies just perfect together?

1220

Look at that cute little face:

1169

And even when a little fuss erupted, mama soothed her right down.

1194

Sometimes all you need is a little mama cuddle.

1236

Or maybe just a nice tight swaddle…

1246

We were able to spend a bit of time in her grandma’s beautiful garden.

1279

1152

And do you believe this foot is smaller than mama’s index finger?

1299

1305

Photoshoots are hard work, man.

1319

Adored meeting this sweet love. She’s just perfection. See you SOON!

Four weeks old with her loving pups

Welcome to the world, little B! I got to meet this sweet girl last weekend on the day she turned 4 weeks old. She’s perfect.

First I have to show you this shot – I love when this happens spontaneously! Mama was looking lovingly on in the background and look what we got. Love this.

7709

What a beauty.

7598

I also loved getting to know her big (canine) siblings — they’re settling into this new life as protectors-of-the-babe really well! It’s tough when a new little human arrives. But they’re being super sweet with her.

Such great photos, they came out beautifully! Bailey is too precious

This sweet boy turned one!

Another cutie pie at the end of his Baby’s First Year package! I can’t believe this big boy is already one. We had three wonderful photoshoots this year, and I was so honored to be able to come document this handsome little dude on a gorgeous hot June day about a week ago. We got to play in the yard! Water table amazingness! And what’s better than playing with a hose? Pretty much nothing, when you’re one. Happy birthday, sweet boy!

Love the photos! They are just precious and truly capture the personalities. And, they

put a really big smile on my face.

Great pictures!

My goodness, I love bathtime photos

I am going to tease you with these first few photos because you’re not really going to believe how adorable this little girl is when I show you her face. So I’m starting with her 13 month old arms. Because wrist rolls? Knuckle dimples? People, we got it all here.

Minishoots at Turner’s Pond are pretty fantastic

I met these guys at Turner’s Pond a few weeks ago and I keep meaning to blog their session – so sorry for the delay! I just adore Turner’s as a minishoot location – not only because it’s close to where I live, but also because the backdrop is just perfection for minis. Parking is easy and it really couldn’t be more beautiful, any time of year.

But without further ado… here’s Ms. A and her fantastic parents:

Hey look, I made a video all about BBP!

I recently had the opportunity to bring a video crew along with me to a photoshoot – what fun! They made a really fun 90 second video for me. What do you think?

Six months ago today, my sister and brother-in-law became superheroes

Six months ago today, two new people came into the world. They are perfect, amazing little beings, and their giggles and stinky farts impress us all on a daily basis.

But really, I think I need to take a minute to bow down and pay homage to their parents (my sister and brother-in-law). They truly amaze me every day with what they manage and the balls they keep in the air. Whenever anyone asks me how they’re doing, I always say, they’re incredible. They’re exhausted. They’re deep. They’re in this thing. But really, they’re superheroes. Three under three and two full time jobs for most of the last six months isn’t for the faint of heart.

But now I get to regale you with the cuteness. Because come ON? Blow you away adorable, right?

Oh, and guess who got a tooth since I took these photos last Friday?

Love you all, so so much.

And Jackalacka, I’m so glad those teeth finally burst through. Ouch. Our family’s been just overwhelmed by the addition of a Y chromosome in your generation – so thrilled for your bowties and your sweet amazing boy-ness. ILYVM, sweet boy.

Elliebell, your gravely cry when you wake up from your nap makes me both smile and feel sad for you. Because crying’s no good. But wow it’s a cute cry. And keep grinning your big open-mouthed grin because it makes everybody happy. ILYVM, sweet girl.

And not to forget Jojo — girl, you did it, you made it through the first six months as a big sister. Well done, love bug. It only gets better from here. They’ll be “playing” with you any day now. And even though that’s sometimes hard, it’s also the best thing ever.

They are some sweet!!!!!!!! Love your pictures!

Boys will be (fabulous) boys

So I’m not supposed to blog this many pictures. I always feel like I need to apologize when I include this many photos in a blog post because I’m supposed to choose just a handful to show to you, but these guys were just killing me and I had to show you all these.

Guess who just turned one!?! And guess which boys LOVE to play together? I’m going to let the photos do the talking, but COME. ON. NOW. The cuteness will blow your mind.

So I hope to catch you in the fall for a Minishoot in the Public Garden!

Everybody welcoming a sweet new girl

This sweet pumpkin has so much love surrounding her! She was nine days old when we took these photos, and her big 4 1/2 year old sister and her big 2 1/2 year old brother just showered her with attention for the whole photoshoot.

Also, I so often blog my newborn in-home sessions in black and white, I wanted to change it up for you here – every session I shoot is always provided to my clients in both black and white and color, but I sometimes forget to blog the color shots so you can see the cuties’ pink cheeks too.

It’s Nursery School picture day time of year!

It’s that time of year! This was my 8th annual school photo day at the fabulous Ashmont Nursery School, and I loved it, as always. We shot these photos back in February, but I’m just taking the time to blog them now – aren’t these kiddos just amazingly adorable?

And before I get into the cuteness, I should link over to the page of information about having me come do this at any Nursery School in the greater Boston area – don’t hesitate to reach out if you want me to come do this at your school. I usually do them in January-March, and would love to add more schools into my calendar. It’s free to the school to have me come do it, and parents only pay if they like the photos. Here’s all the information.
